Acclaimed singer-songwriter Johnoy Danao is set to captivate the Filipino audience with his much-anticipated first solo concert, Liwayway at Dapithapon, happening on March 14 to 15, 2025, at the prestigious Metropolitan Theater (MET) in Manila.
The two-day musical celebration marks a milestone in Danao’s illustrious 25-year journey as an artist, serenading music fans with heartfelt tunes that cut across generations.
Produced by Johnoy Danao and minsan studio, Liwayway at Dapithapon promises to deliver an unforgettable event that chronicles the career of one of the country’s most beloved folk troubadours. The concert will not only revisit Danao’s familiar tunes but will also offer new renditions and never-before-heard tracks, demonstrating his growth as an artist over the years.
A standout feature of the concert will be a special set accompanied by a 15-piece orchestra, masterfully arranged by Ria Villena-Osorio.
