Kapamilya noontime variety show ‘It’s Showtime’ continues to dominate the noontime slot despite its departure from GTV’s broadcast lineup.

According to the latest Nielsen NUTAM People ratings, ‘It’s Showtime’ consistently leads the noontime ratings battle with a significant margin over its rival, ‘EAT… Bulaga.’

On Monday, January 13, ‘It’s Showtime’ ranked 11th on the overall ratings chart, garnering a 5.8 percent rating, while ‘EAT… Bulaga’ placed 16th with 3.3 percent.

The trend continued on Tuesday, January 14, with ‘It’s Showtime’ maintaining its 11th-place ranking and improving to a 6.0 percent rating. Meanwhile, ‘EAT… Bulaga’ dropped slightly to 3.2 percent, widening the gap between the two shows to 2.8 percent.

On Wednesday, January 15, ‘It’s Showtime’ held steady at 11th place with the same 6.0 percent rating, while ‘EAT… Bulaga’ improved marginally to 3.3 percent.

Thursday, January 16, saw a slight dip for It’s Showtime, which posted a 5.7 percent rating, while ‘EAT… Bulaga’ continued its gradual rise, reaching 3.4 percent.

By Friday, January 17, ‘It’s Showtime’ experienced another slight decline, recording a 5.5 percent rating. Despite this, it maintained a comfortable lead over ‘EAT… Bulaga,’ which further improved to 3.6 percent.

The sustained dominance of It’s Showtime in the noontime ratings race, even after losing GTV as a broadcast platform, demonstrates its strong and loyal viewer base, enabling the show to remain ahead of its competition.
