Two of the Philippines’ biggest networks, GMA Network and ABS-CBN, have announced an unprecedented partnership for the upcoming ‘Pinoy Big Brother’ Celebrity Edition Collab.
This collaboration marks a significant milestone in Philippine television as it celebrates the 20th anniversary of the iconic reality show, ‘Pinoy Big Brother’ (PBB).
The announcement was revealed on GMA Network’s ’24 Oras’ on Monday, January 27, confirming that Kapuso and Kapamilya artists will share the spotlight inside Kuya’s house. For the first time in ‘PBB’s’ two-decade history, the reality show will air on GMA Network, a significant departure from its exclusive broadcast on ABS-CBN since its debut in 2005.
ABS-CBN expressed excitement over this groundbreaking collaboration in their official statement:

This latest collaboration follows previous partnerships between the two media giants, including the 2023 hit series ‘Unbreak My Heart’, which starred Jodi Sta. Maria, Joshua Garcia, Richard Yap, and Gabbi Garcia. The show aired on GMA Network while being produced by ABS-CBN. Additionally, GMA Network’s GTV now broadcasts ‘It’s Showtime’, ABS-CBN’s flagship noontime program, after it transitioned from its previous platform.
