Netizens are abuzz on social media thanks to TikTok personality Dan Laudit’s video about his experience witnessing DonBelle’s Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano film what appears to be their latest and yet-unreleased Valentine’s project with Closeup.
“Itong love team na ‘to, international talaga… Sobrang daming sumusuporta kahit nasa ibang bansa,” said Laudit on his video before poking fun at how fans rave about the onscreen tandem.
“Kahit off-cam, ang sweet!” the content creator shared, while showing a few videos of the actors interacting in between takes. One clip even had Donny Pangilinan greeting Laudit. “Napansin niya ako!” he gushed.
“In fairness kay Belle, kahit pawisan siya, ang bangu-bango,” also shared Laudit about Belle Mariano.
The taping is for Closeup’s recently announced “interactive music video” – a first-of-its-kind project in which the brand brings fans even closer to DonBelle by giving them the power to decide what happens next in the music video. Fans get to choose how the love team’s story will progress by taking votes about the pair’s actions, which are split between two options that are either intense and bold, or cool and subtle.
The Valentine’s music video’s first teaser was unveiled on January 9th, announcing that SB19’s Felip will be performing the song with DonBelle starring in the interactive video. Less than 24 hours after its release, the teaser already became trending on sites like X (formerly Twitter) and TikTok.
“Dahil love na love natin ang DonBelle… mag-vote na lang kayo sa MV (music video),” Laudit told viewers at the end of his video. “I-check niyo na lang ‘yong TikTok page ng Closeup.”
The voting period will be from January 13 to 31, 2025. The grand launch of the interactive music video is slated on February 8, 2025.
The love team previously appeared in Closeup’s 2023 music video for “Closer You & I” performed by Adie.
