Actor David Licauco, 30, is reportedly single, sparking discussions among fans after a social media post suggested his relationship with a mystery girlfriend has ended.
The speculation began when Joy Marcelo, first vice president of Sparkle GMA Artist Center, posted an Instagram Story in December 2024. The photo featured David alongside fellow Kapuso star Nikki Co, captioned: “Mga single ngayong Pasko!!!! @davidlicauco @nikkico_.”
Although the post has since disappeared, fans captured and shared it, fueling rumors that David has ended his relationship.
This development comes just after Barbie Forteza, 27, confirmed her breakup with longtime boyfriend Jak Roberto, 31. Fans of the popular BarDa tandem (Barbie and David) quickly speculated about the possibility of a real-life romance between the two, whose chemistry captivated viewers in the teleserye ‘Maria Clara at Ibarra’.
David previously confirmed he was in a relationship during a guest appearance on ‘Fast Talk with Boy Abunda’ in June 2024, answering “taken” when asked about his relationship status. However, he never revealed the identity of his girlfriend or posted about her on social media.
By January 1, 2025, David shared a recap of his 2024 milestones in an Instagram carousel, which did not include his rumored ex-girlfriend. The post instead featured highlights from his professional life, including photos with his ‘Pulang Araw’ co-stars Barbie Forteza, Alden Richards, and Sanya Lopez.
