Quezon City’s Charyzah Esparrago emerged victorious as Miss Supermodel Worldwide Philippines 2025, during the grand coronation night held on January 24, 2025, at the Newport Performing Arts Theatre in Pasay City.
Esparrago triumphed over 13 other candidates in a competition that bridges the gap between modeling and pageantry. Known for her elegance and poise, the 26-year-old made a stunning impression throughout the evening, bagging numerous special awards, including Supermodel Best Speaker, Darling of the Press, Runway Supermodel, Charity Award, Best in Swimsuit, Best in Evening Gown, and Best in Filipiñana.
Speaking after her win, Esparrago expressed her gratitude and surprise. “Every girl worked so hard, and they were all deserving. When the sash was placed on me, I felt the support and recognition for all my hard work. It was an honor,” she shared.
Esparrago, who holds a Communication Research degree from the University of the Philippines (UP) Diliman, revealed that her journey in pageantry began unexpectedly after being discovered at a food court in Cebu. “I took the risk to build my confidence and learn the art of pasarela. Modeling and pageantry have since become a part of my life,” she recalled.
Esparrago dedicated months to intensive training, particularly on the runway. “My main goal was to make my first step on stage full of aura and confidence. I trusted my training, and it paid off,” she said.
This isn’t Esparrago’s first foray into pageantry. She was previously crowned Binibining Quezon City Karunungan 2020 and participated in Miss World Philippines 2022, where she excelled in the Head-to-Head Challenge.
As Miss Supermodel Worldwide Philippines, Esparrago will represent the country in the Miss Supermodel Worldwide 2025 international pageant, set to be held in the Philippines for the first time this April.
“I’m thrilled to showcase our tourism and highlight the creativity of our fashion designers, photographers, and makeup artists on a global stage,” Esparrago said. She added that the reigning Miss Supermodel Worldwide, Thea Casuncad, has set high standards, motivating her to train harder and perform her best.

Additional accolades were given to Kimberly Flores (Miss Photogenic), Abegyl Balbuena (Miss Congeniality), and Chairylle Dela Cruz (High Fashion Supermodel).
Now in its fourth year, the Miss Supermodel Worldwide pageant has gained recognition for blending the worlds of modeling and pageantry. This year’s global competition marks the first time the event will be hosted outside its founding country, India.
