Former Senator Bam Aquino posted the largest increase in percentage points in Pinasurvey’s tracking last December, allowing him to secure a share of 6th to 13th positions.
According to Rolland Ramirez, Managing Director of Insightspedia, Inc., the company behind Pinasurvey, Aquino gained a five-point increase in percentage points, the highest among the candidates tied with him in the position.
Ramirez explained that the surge was an indication of Aquino’s momentum, and his true standing in the survey is likely at the higher end of the 6th-13th spots.
“This suggests he has momentum and that his true standing is likely on the higher end of his range or approaching it,” he said.
Ramirez also stated that while the top four candidates for senator are almost assured of their spots, the race for the remaining positions is still “wide open.”
Aside from Pinasurvey, Aquino also made it to the Magic 12 in recent Publicus Asia and Tangere surveys.
If he returns to the Senate, Aquino plans to push for increased education and job creation funding.
Recently, various artists and influencers gathered to express full support for Aquino’s senatorial campaign. Among those who conveyed their support were Jolina Magdangal, Mark Escueta and Bayang Barrios, Niccolo Cosme, Mitch Valdes, Arman Ferrer, Ayrin Villamor, Moy Ortiz, AC Soriano, and comedian Alex Calleja.
Pia Magalona, Arkin Magalona, Elmo Magalona, Nica del Rosario, Pinky Amador, Kerwin King, Tita Jegs, Jim Paredes, Elha Nympha, Jeli Mateo, Chef Jeng Flores, and many others also pledged to help Aquino’s candidacy.
Earlier, Aquino received support from Bodjie Pascua, Lance Oca, Mama Loi Villarama, and members of The Company, including Moy Ortiz, Sweet Plantado Tiongson, OJ Mariano, and Teacher Annie Quintos.
