Kapuso DJs Papa Obet and Papa Dudut shared their thoughts and advice for Aiai delas Alas and Bea Alonzo, who are navigating life after their respective breakups.
The conversation took place during their guest appearance on ‘Fast Talk with Boy Abunda’ last Tuesday.
Host Boy Abunda revisited the emotional end of Aiai’s relationship with Gerald Sibayan, who reportedly broke up with her through a message after their unsuccessful attempt at IVF.
Papa Dudut, who also underwent IVF treatments, empathized with Aiai’s situation. “Pareho kami ng pinagdaanan. I underwent IVF. Mahirap siya emotionally at physically,” he shared.
In a light-hearted quip, the DJ added, “Kung hindi ka swerte sa lalaki, try mo kaya sa babae, Ms. Aiai,” before emphasizing Aiai’s resilience. “She’s a strong woman. She’s overcome breakups before and emerged stronger. Makakayanan niya ito.”
Papa Obet echoed this sentiment: “Marami na siyang napagdaanan, and she always finds a way to rise above. Kung saan siya magiging masaya, doon siya dapat pumunta.”
When the discussion turned to Bea Alonzo, who split from her fiancé Dominic Roque last year, the DJs encouraged her to embrace her personal journey.
“For Bea, magtanim ka nang magtanim sa farm mo—ang ganda ng farm mo! Spend time with your mom and enjoy vlogging. Darating din ang para sa ’yo,” said Papa Dudut.
Papa Obet added, “Darating talaga ’yung para sa kanya. In the meantime, enjoy lang sa ginagawa mo. If dating makes you happy, go for it.”
The conversation also touched on the rumored romance between Kyline Alcantara and basketball star Kobe Paras.
