VMX is set to heat up the holiday season with two highly anticipated releases: ‘Silip,’ streaming on VMX starting December 3, and ‘My Boyfriend is a Sex Worker,’ debuting on VMX Plus on December 6.
These bold, provocative films promise to captivate audiences with their compelling stories and thought-provoking themes.
Premiering on VMX this December 3, ‘Silip’ explores the dangerous allure of unfulfilled desires. Directed by Bobby Bonifacio Jr., the film stars Karl Aquino as Joel, a paresan owner who becomes infatuated with his mysterious neighbor Rose, played by Rica Gonzales.
Unbeknownst to Joel, Rose is a sex worker who entertains clients in her apartment. Afterward, these clients visit Joel’s paresan, recounting their intimate experiences with Rose. Their stories fuel Joel’s fantasies, intensifying his longing for the woman he has only admired from afar.
Their worlds collide when Rose dines at Joel’s paresan, sparking a connection that could change everything. But what will Joel sacrifice to be with the woman of his dreams? Will Rose see Joel differently from the clients she serves?
Silip promises to deliver a gripping narrative about love, lust, and longing.
On December 6, VMX Plus will debut ‘My Boyfriend is a Sex Worker’, a romantic dramedy directed by Ivan Andrew Payawal. The film stars Topper Fabregas as Ace, the golden boy of the affluent Mendoza family.
Ace has it all—a thriving career, academic accolades, and the unconditional support of his family after coming out as gay. His seemingly perfect life takes a turn when he introduces his boyfriend Gio, played by Kurt Kendrick, to his family.
Initially, Gio wins over the Mendozas with his charm and personality. However, their acceptance falters when they discover Gio’s secret—he is an adult content creator and sex worker.
Caught in the middle of a brewing conflict, Ace must choose between his love for Gio and his loyalty to his family. Meanwhile, Gio faces his own dilemma, not wanting to come between Ace and his loved ones.
The film features a stellar supporting cast, including Marnie Lapus as Ace’s determined mother, Angelica, alongside Omar Flores, Adrienne Vergara, and Bob Jbeili. Part 1 will be available on VMX Plus starting December 6, with Part 2 slated for release soon.
Both ‘Silip’ and ‘My Boyfriend is a Sex Worker’ showcase VMX’s commitment to delivering stories that challenge societal norms and spark meaningful conversations.
Don’t miss these compelling films this December. ‘Silip’ streams exclusively on VMX beginning December 3, while ‘My Boyfriend is a Sex Worker’ debuts on VMX Plus on December 6.
