Kapamilya stars Seth Fedelin and Francine Diaz, the lead actors of the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2024 entry ‘My Future You’, revealed touching details about their personal connection during their recent guesting on ‘Fast Talk with Boy Abunda’.
During the interview, Seth shared how he confessed his feelings for Francine while they were on a flight returning from an out-of-town taping.
“Nasa eroplano po ‘yon, magkatabi ng upuan tapos nakinig kami ng music. Isa kami ng earphones. Tapos nakikinig kami ng OPM songs,” Seth recalled.
Francine, on the other hand, revealed that her ears were aching during the flight, prompting Seth to suggest they listen to music together. It was then that Seth admitted his feelings, saying, “Alam mo ba crush kita?”
Initially, Francine thought Seth was joking, but the actor explained his emotions further. “Kapag nakikita kita sa taping, lumiliwanag ‘yung mundo ko… parang ang gaan-gaan mo kausap,” Seth told her.
Francine admitted she found Seth’s words endearing but downplayed the moment, thinking it was fleeting.
When asked about their current relationship status, Francine emphasized that they are taking their time. She expressed gratitude for having Seth in her life, describing him as a best friend she deeply values.
“Totoo po, kung nasaan kami ngayon, hindi po namin ‘yun minadali talaga… Grateful po ako na mayroon akong Seth sa buhay ko,” Francine said.
Seth, for his part, spoke about the effort he put into earning Francine’s trust, as well as her family’s.
“Hindi po biro na makuha ang tiwala ng mga magulang ni Francine at ni Francine mismo. Sobra ko pong ginalingan,” he shared.
The pair’s heartfelt revelations add another layer of intrigue to their roles in ‘My Future You’, which continues to perform well in cinemas as part of MMFF 2024.
Fans of the tandem, fondly referred to as ‘FranSeth,’ are thrilled by their undeniable chemistry both on and off the screen.
