Social media influencer Jayson Luzadas, widely known as Boss Toyo, has expanded his career horizons with the official launch of Geng Geng Network on D8TV Channel 31.
The new network seeks to elevate content creators and social media personalities by bringing their work to a mainstream television platform.
The media launch, held on December 9 at Trigger Cine Studio, highlighted the network’s mission to provide diverse, relatable, and responsible programming. Together with influencers like Rendon Labador and other creators, Luzadas revealed the vision behind Geng Geng Network, aiming to reshape perceptions of influencers in the entertainment landscape.
Luzadas emphasized the network’s unique makeup, built on collaboration among social media personalities with a passion for delivering fresh and dynamic content.
“It will be a different kind of network kasi binubuo ito ng social media influencers at content creators na gustong-gusto maghatid ng iba’t ibang klase ng show,” Luzadas shared during the launch.
He reassured the public that all shows on the network would adhere strictly to the guidelines set by the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB).

Rendon Labador underlined the importance of maintaining a standard of moral responsibility, especially given the unregulated nature of social media.
“Gusto naming maging role model sa kapwa naming content creators na magkaroon ng responsibility sa mga tao,” Labador explained.
He expressed concerns about inappropriate content proliferating on social media and emphasized their commitment to creating a safer, more constructive viewing experience.
“Mahirap sa social media is hindi regulated. Ang daming nagmumura at gumagawa ng [hindi maayos na] content para sa mga bata. Makikipagtulungan kami sa MTRCB para magkaroon ng standard sa content sa mga Pilipino,” he said.
Luzadas addressed the existing bias against influencers, sharing his resolve to challenge these misconceptions.
“People often say, ‘Influencer lang ’yan, vlogger lang ’yan,’ but why are we still being watched if that’s the case?” Luzadas questioned.
He further added, “We’re here to prove that we’re not just content creators or social media influencers. We’re here to show that we can provide joy, entertainment, lessons, and drama.”
Labador echoed this sentiment, asserting that “influencers are the new celebrities” and underscoring their strength in showing the realities of everyday life.
“Ang mainstream, nagbibigay sila ng false hope sa ating mga kababayan. Nakikita niyo kami sa social media at alam naming nakakarelate sa amin ang mga followers namin. Feel namin ito ang magiging strength ng Geng Geng Network,” Labador said.
The Geng Geng Network currently features shows such as ‘Bigayan na with Boss Toyo’ and ‘Pinoy Pawn Stars’, with a roster of upcoming programs that include: OFW Diaries, Remember Me, I Heart You, Motivated Billiard League (MBL), Moto Vated, Geng Geng News, Zypher Philippines, Food Vlog, Mommy Gangster, Real Talk, Bini Rosa, What’s Up Klasmeyts, Moving Forward.
The launch of Geng Geng Network signifies a bold step in bridging the gap between social media and traditional television. Luzadas expressed optimism about the project, noting that it fulfills his dream of creating a platform for collaboration and creativity.
“Hindi lang ito para sa sarili ko, kasi gusto ko yung maraming nakakasama magtrabaho… Mahilig ako magsama ng mga tao kahit hindi ako sigurado sa ginagawa ko. If mag-work, edi okay. Kung hindi, at least nasubukan namin. I’m a very positive person and I know it will work,” Luzadas shared.
Broadcasting daily on D8TV Channel 31, Geng Geng Network promises to deliver authentic and inspiring content, redefining what it means to be a content creator in today’s entertainment landscape.
