Vivamax star Jenn Rosa brushed off concerns about potential onlookers during the filming of her steamy scenes for the digital GL (Girl’s Love) movie ‘Boss Ma’am’.
Shot in an actual office with employees working nearby, the production presented unique challenges, but Jenn remained focused on her craft.
“Kapag work, work! Parang bahala na kayo diyan, basta gawin ko lang ’yung trabaho ko,” Jenn shared during the film’s media conference.
Co-star Vern Kaye, who plays a significant role in the movie, admitted she was unaware of the presence of office employees during the shoot.
“Hindi ko alam na may empleyado pala doon. Akala ko lahat ’yon mga staff namin,” Vern said with a laugh.
Director Iar Arondaing confirmed that the production team informed the office employees to avoid the filming areas. “Sinabihan naman po sila ng mga boss nila na may magsho-shoot. Tapos sinabi rin na Vivamax. Aware naman sila,” he explained.
Boss Ma’am tells the story of Vern Andrea Dixon (Jenn Rosa), a powerful CEO known for her no-nonsense approach to managing her food company. Her life takes an unexpected turn when she becomes attracted to Jojo (Aerol Carmelo), a maintenance worker she meets during a weekend in the office.
The affair reveals Vern’s hidden submissive desires, a sharp contrast to her authoritative public image. As their relationship deepens, her manipulative assistant, Charm (played by Vern Kaye), uncovers the secret romance and uses it to her advantage.
Charm’s blackmail forces Vern into difficult choices, raising questions about who ultimately holds the power in the escalating drama.
Directed by Iar Arondaing, ‘Boss Ma’am’ features bold performances and daring scenes that push boundaries. The film, which explores themes of power dynamics and vulnerability, is now available for streaming on Vivamax.
