Jamela Villanueva has come forward with claims of infidelity involving her former boyfriend, actor Anthony Jennings, and his co-star, Maris Racal.
In a series of Instagram Stories posted late on December 3, 2024, Villanueva detailed her side of the story, alleging that Jennings and Racal engaged in an affair that contributed to the end of her seven-year relationship with the actor.
Villanueva shared screenshots of alleged conversations between Jennings and Racal, which she described as “inappropriate” and suggestive of a deeper relationship. One exchange dated June 28, 2024, appeared to show Racal asking Jennings if they should delete their messages, with Jennings replying, “Okay na. Yeah. Sana nga. Naiwan ko cap jan. Bukas nalang. See you. Gusto kita yakapin.”
Jam claimed this interaction took place during a hotel stay for a brand event. Other screenshots she shared showed more explicit messages, including one where Racal allegedly described a kiss with Jennings as “so hot.”
In another message, Jennings allegedly admitted to Villanueva that he and Racal kissed outside of work obligations, explaining it as part of his “method acting” approach.
“He explained that he needed to make her feel loved and appreciated because she was going through something as well,” Jam wrote. “He believed that showing her care was the only way to make their work go smoothly.”
Villanueva recounted how she initially tried to support Jennings’ career despite noticing “red flags” in their relationship.
“When Maris came into the picture, I was genuinely happy for you both,” she said. “I respected your craft and believed in you. But betrayal like this cuts deep.”
Jam also claimed Jennings begged her to stop posting cryptic TikTok videos after their breakup, promising that his relationship with Racal had ended.
In an earlier statement, Jennings confirmed his split with Villanueva but denied any romantic relationship with Racal, calling her a friend.
“Magkaibigan lang po kami, and sana matigil na rin ‘yung mga ganong issues,” Jennings said.
Despite the alleged betrayal, Villanueva expressed gratitude for her time with Jennings, thanking him for being her partner during difficult times.
“Happiness was all I ever wanted for you. I never imagined I’d have to let you go, but I did—so you could grow and find happiness on your own,” she wrote.
She ended her posts with a message to women, urging them to value themselves and not ignore signs of betrayal.
“To all the women reading this, don’t be like me. It took me three long months to accept the reality of the situation. I allowed this to happen because I trusted my partner and her—as a woman.”
Racal has yet to issue a statement regarding the allegations. Meanwhile, social media has been abuzz with divided opinions, with some supporting Villanueva and others awaiting responses from Jennings and Racal.
