Chloe San Jose couldn’t be prouder of her boyfriend, Olympic gold medalist Carlos “Caloy” Yulo, after he was named ‘Athlete of the Year’ by Esquire Philippines.
The proud girlfriend took to Instagram to share her joy, writing: “Another award, another moment of pride. My man inspiring the youth & Filipino athletes one achievement at a time!”
She added, “I’m just always so proud to stand by your side and celebrate all that you are, mahal ko—CONGRATULATIONS @c_edrielzxs.”

Yulo, the Philippines’ first double Olympic gold medalist, continues to add to his growing list of accolades. This latest honor from Esquire Philippines further cements his status as one of the country’s most accomplished athletes. The magazine also recognized him as one of this year’s ‘Man at His Best’ awardees.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, Yulo shared his gratitude for the recognition, saying: “Ang maparangalan ng @esquireph Athlete of the Year 2024 ay higit pa sa achievement, dahil hindi lang po ito para sa akin… kundi para sa lahat ng nangangarap na kabataan at mga atletang Filipino 
”
