Kapamilya actor Carlo Aquino opened up about how his life has transformed since marrying actress Charlie Dizon on June 9, 2024.
The actor shared his thoughts during the press conference for his Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2024 entry ‘Hold Me Close’, where he stars opposite Julia Barretto.
Aquino revealed that his day-to-day life has not drastically changed but emphasized the importance of being more mindful of his wife’s feelings.
Carlo also described how Charlie has become his emotional anchor.
One notable shift in Carlo’s life is how he interacts with others, especially women. Known for being approachable, he admitted that marriage has prompted him to set new boundaries.
May boundaries na,” he stated.
The actor also reflected on his personal growth, saying he’s become more mature and sociable. “Noong Third World Romance (pelikula nila ni Charlie), iba na yung warmth. Siguro it comes with age din.
In ‘Hold Me Close’, Carlo reunites with Julia Barretto in a film about love and second chances, which will debut as an official entry in the MMFF 2024.
