The holiday season in Manila just got sweeter with the arrival of Japan’s Butter Butler, which has officially opened its first store in the Philippines.
Located at the R2 Level of Power Plant Mall in Rockwell, Makati, Butter Butler is introducing its renowned butter-centric pastries to Filipino dessert enthusiasts, just in time for the festive season.
Known for its premium ingredients and indulgent treats, Butter Butler’s offerings include a variety of mouthwatering pastries crafted with European fermented butter, French Guérande salt, and Canadian maple syrup. Among the must-try items is the Butter Financier, a rich, golden-brown pastry that features a moist, buttery texture. It’s available in sets of 4 for P640, 8 for P1,200, 12 for P1,700, and 16 for P2,300. Another fan favorite is the Butter Galette, a crispy yet chewy French pastry that melts in your mouth, priced at P690 for a set of 9 pieces.
For those looking for variety, the Butter Selection set, which includes both Butter Financiers and Butter Galettes, is available for P1,750. Additionally, Butter Butler has introduced a Manila-exclusive creation: the Butter Croffle. This pastry combines the crispy, buttery exterior of a croissant with the soft, fluffy interior of a waffle. Priced at P135 each or P550 for 5 pieces, the Butter Croffle has already become a hit among local foodies.
Butter Butler teased its Manila debut back in October, and the highly anticipated store opening took place on December 2, 2024. The store quickly attracted large crowds eager to try the brand’s signature treats, filling the air with the irresistible aroma of freshly baked pastries.
“We are thrilled to bring the unique and indulgent world of Butter Butler to the Philippines,” said Bryan Tiu, President and CEO of iFoods Inc., the company behind the brand’s local launch. “Our goal is to elevate the dessert experience by making butter the star of the show, and we believe we’ve achieved that with our delectable offerings.”
Butter Butler’s products are not just desserts; they embody the Japanese tradition of Omiyage, the custom of bringing home souvenirs or treats for loved ones. Each pastry is a celebration of butter’s rich flavor, creating a savory, sweet experience that stands out from typical dessert offerings.
As the brand settles into the Manila market, it hopes to become a go-to destination for dessert lovers seeking something new and indulgent. To stay updated on their latest products and promotions, fans can follow Butter Butler PH on Facebook, @butterbutlerph on Instagram, and visit butterbutler.ph.
