Baron Geisler opened up about the invaluable support he has received from his co-stars and the ‘Incognito’ production team, sharing how their encouragement has helped him in both his personal and professional life.
At a recent media conference for the upcoming series, Baron expressed his gratitude, particularly for the efforts of ‘Incognito’ director Lester Pimentel Ong and the Star Creatives team, who have not only trusted him with the role but also extended their help in guiding him toward a better path.
Baron recalled the team’s words when they first offered him the project: “’Yung mga kasama ko, hinihila nila ako pataas, eh. Paakyat. Like si Direk Lester, the entire team ng Star Creatives, nu’ng miniting nila ako with the show, they said, ‘Baron, you know, we just want to help you straighten up your life and we’re here to help you.’”
The actor also touched on the bond he has formed with his co-stars, particularly Daniel Padilla, who recently reached out to Baron with a heartfelt message before his trip to Japan for filming.
“Bonus pa ‘yung nagtutulungan kami, may relationship kami sa isa’t isa. Like nu’ng I flew to Japan to shoot a movie, nag-message sa ‘kin si DJ, (sabi niya), ‘O pare, lilipad ka, ‘wag kang magkalat diyan, ha?’ That really meant a lot to me,” Baron shared.
He also noted how he’s seen Daniel mature over the years, saying, “Nakita ko, sobrang laki rin ng changes ni DJ, nag-mature na rin siya.”
Baron also spoke warmly of Ian Veneracion, whom he considers a mentor and big brother. He expressed how Veneracion’s guidance has been instrumental in his life and career. “Si Kuya Ian naman is my mentor, big brother. Kapag may mga questions ako about life, napaka-deep ni Kuya Ian,” said Baron.
Looking ahead, Baron is determined to continue growing both as an actor and as a person. “For me, I just want to continue doing my best, giving my all, to be a dependable actor and to just open my heart, hindi lang sa show na ‘to, eh. Kasi nadadala ko ‘yung good attitude, manners, behavior, sa iba pang mga nakakasama kong produksyon,” he explained.
‘Incognito’ is set to premiere on Netflix on January 17, 2025, with additional showings on Kapamilya platforms such as iWantTFC (January 18), Kapamilya Channel, Jeepney TV, TV5, and A2Z (January 20, 2025).
