Anthony Jennings continues to face backlash online after his ex-girlfriend, Jam Villanueva, accused him of cheating with his love team partner, Maris Racal.
In the midst of the controversy, a netizen claiming to be Anthony’s aunt has spoken up to defend the Kapamilya actor.
Merilyn Olofsson, who identifies herself as Anthony’s aunt, posted on Facebook to express her unwavering support for her nephew. She emphasized that everyone makes mistakes and that only God has the right to judge.
“Laban lang pamangkin ko, alam ko malalampasan natin lahat to. Tandaan mo Diyos lang ang pweding humatol!! Lahat ng tao pwede magkamali!!” wrote Merilyn.
She added that Anthony’s family is fully behind him during this challenging time. “Ndto kami na pamilya mo sumusuporta sayo!! We love you Anthony,” she said.
Jam Villanueva recently went public with claims that Anthony cheated on her with Maris Racal. She accused the two of betrayal, which has since sparked heated discussions online. Both Anthony and Maris have been receiving hate comments from netizens following Jam’s revelations.
In her post, Merilyn also claimed that Jam had been controlling Anthony’s finances during their relationship. She further alleged that Jam often felt jealous of Anthony’s co-stars in his projects.
