Amid growing speculation about his relationship with Maris Racal, Anthony Jennings has addressed the rumors surrounding his breakup with Jam Villanueva, clearing the air and setting the record straight.
At the press conference for Incognito, the upcoming action-drama series by Star Creatives and ABS-CBN, Anthony confirmed that he and Jam have been separated for several months. He explained that the breakup was a personal matter, emphasizing that it was not related to his professional relationship with Maris.
“Oo, yes, hiwalay na kami. Matagal na…months ago na hiwalay kami,” Anthony revealed. He also requested that the public respect Jam’s privacy, noting that she is not part of the entertainment industry. “Eh, si Jamella naman kasi, hindi naman siya artista, so pribado talaga…personal kumbaga,” he said.
Taking responsibility for the end of his relationship, Anthony admitted that the problem lay with him and that he needed to address it. “Problema ko naman yon, na dapat kong ayusin,” he stated, before asking the public to avoid involving Maris in the situation. “At sa lahat ng mga nanggugulo rin sa dalawa, yes, kay Maris, nadadamay rin si Maris, magkaibigan lang ho kami.”
Despite the circulating rumors, Anthony and Maris continue to share a strong professional bond. The two have previously worked together on various projects, and their camaraderie is evident in Incognito, where they share several exciting action scenes alongside Daniel Padilla, Richard Gutierrez, and Ian Veneracion.
“Sabi ko nga, masaya ito, makakatrabaho ko ulit si Maris,” Anthony said. “Alam ko naman na masarap katrabaho si Maris. Ang mga eksena namin nagpapatong-patong na dahil ang dami naming naiisip talaga. Nagbibigayan kami sa eksena. Happy ako na nakatrabaho ko si Maris.”
‘Incognito,’ which features intense action and gripping drama, will debut on Netflix on January 17, 2025, and will be available on other Kapamilya platforms including iWantTFC, Kapamilya Channel, and A2Z starting January 18. The series is shaping up to be a major hit, with a star-studded cast and thrilling storyline.
