The comment drew laughs from fans, though some noted the frustration of Filipino pageant enthusiasts as the Philippines’ representative, Chelsea Manalo, exited the competition after reaching the Top 30.
Despite her early elimination from the finals, Chelsea Manalo made history as the first-ever Miss Universe Asia, a title introduced in this year’s pageant. Vice extended his gratitude and encouragement to Chelsea, tweeting: “Thanks Chelsea! Have a safe flyt back home!”
