Congressman Sam Verzosa has dismissed recent speculation that he influenced actress Rhian Ramos, his girlfriend, to switch networks from GMA Network to ABS-CBN.
The couple had just returned to the Philippines after participating in the New York City Marathon on November 3, diving back into their respective busy schedules.
Verzosa resumed his community outreach efforts in Manila, while Ramos began promotions for her new film, ‘Huwag Mo Akong Iwan,’ which is set to premiere on November 27.
Rumors surfaced suggesting that Verzosa played a role in Ramos’ alleged network transfer to ABS-CBN, but he addressed these claims directly in a recent interview.
“Nasa GMA rin po ang ‘Dear SV’ ko,” Verzosa clarified. “I’m happy at GMA, and so is Rhian. There is no truth to the rumor that she’s moving to ABS-CBN, and I have absolutely nothing to do with it.”
He further pointed out that Ramos remains involved in ongoing GMA Network projects, including her role in the network’s series ‘Sang’gre,’ underscoring her current commitment to GMA Network.
