Joshua Garcia has openly expressed his desire to work with award-winning actress Kathryn Bernardo, fueling excitement among fans who are eager to see the two stars team up.
In an interview at the Star Magical Christmas Ball, Garcia shared that while nothing has been officially planned yet, he hopes for a future collaboration with Bernardo.
“Sana! Pero wala pa naman nasabi sa akin,” Garcia said, admitting that although it’s not yet confirmed, he remains hopeful. “Hindi pa siya totoo, pero sana.”
When asked about the genre of project he’d like to do with Bernardo, Garcia said he’d love to take on a romantic drama.
“Gusto ko sana drama, drama na romantic,” he revealed, hinting at the type of project he would enjoy working on with the actress.
Garcia also fondly recalled his early days of admiration for Bernardo, revealing that he had a crush on her even during his time on Pinoy Big Brother (PBB).
“PBB pa lang, crush ko na ‘yun eh,” Garcia admitted. He added, “Malaking achievement from humahanga lang ako sa kanya to naging magkaibigan kami.”
Joshua Garcia is currently involved in the Philippine adaptation of the popular Korean series ‘It’s Okay to Not Be Okay,’ where he stars alongside Anne Curtis and Carlo Aquino.
Meanwhile, Kathryn Bernardo is enjoying the success of her latest film, ‘Hello, Love, Again,’ which has become the first Filipino film to surpass ₱1 billion in global box office earnings. The movie continues to show internationally, with screenings in Hong Kong, Macau, and several European countries.
