Gee Canlas, wife of actor Archie Alemania, has broken her silence with a cryptic Instagram post amid the ongoing controversy involving her husband.
Alemania faces allegations of misconduct filed by Kapuso actress Rita Daniela, stemming from an incident at a thanksgiving party.
In her post, Gee expressed her belief in the power of truth, writing, “The truth doesn’t need defending; it speaks for itself” with caption, “All will be answered in due time.”

Archie’s fans quickly rallied behind him, sharing messages of support for the actor and criticizing Daniela. Many expressed their confidence in Alemania’s innocence.

Veteran entertainment journalist Cristy Fermin, on her online show ‘Showbiz Now Na,’ shared details from a conversation with Alemania. The actor vehemently denied the allegations, stating that he had no inappropriate interactions with Daniela.
According to Fermin, Alemania recalled an incident during the party where Daniela approached him in tears, confiding that she felt excluded by others.
“She told Archie, ‘Kuya, ayoko nang mag-attend pa ng ganitong party kasi parang pinagkakaisahan ako.’ Archie reassured her, saying, ‘Hindi ka pinagkakaisahan, sinasabihan ka lang para matuto kang maki-join,’” Fermin narrated.
Alemania reportedly questioned the claims, asking, “If I truly disrespected her, why would she come to me to share her feelings?”
Alemania’s legal team is preparing a counter-affidavit to refute Daniela’s accusations. Fermin emphasized that her coverage of the issue aims to present a balanced perspective.
“Wala po kaming victim-blaming dito. Binabalanse lang namin ang mga kuwento dahil naglantad na si Rita sa sinumpaan niyang salaysay,” Fermin clarified.
Rita Daniela has remained steadfast in her allegations and is reportedly undergoing therapy to recover from the emotional toll of the incident. In her sworn affidavit, she detailed her account of the party and the alleged misconduct.
