Kapamilya stars Francine Diaz and Seth Fedelin have clarified the status of their relationship, revealing they are in the “getting-to-know-each-other” phase.
In an interview with Ogie Diaz, Seth admitted their connection has evolved recently, describing how their conversations have deepened.
“Ngayon, nag-uusap kami. I mean, iba na ‘yung dating kaysa dati. Parang mas pagkatapos magtrabaho kami, magkausap,” he shared.
Francine confirmed Seth’s remarks, emphasizing their honesty about the matter.
“Siguro, tito, getting to know each other… Kami naman po, never namin shinowbiz ang mga sagot namin from the very beginning. Very open and honest kami to everyone,” she added.
Francine revealed that her parents have given Seth their trust, allowing him to drive her to and from school.
Seth acknowledged the importance of this trust, saying, “Para sa akin, araw-araw dapat may tiwala rin ang magulang ni Cheen sa akin.”
He further explained how gaining approval from Francine’s parents is key to their connection.
“’Yun talaga, malaking alas ‘yun eh. Kumbaga, makita niya [Francine] na okay kami ng parents niya, mas lalo siyang kikiligin niyan,” he said.

Francine expressed her gratitude for Seth’s efforts, especially his dedication to making her daily commute easier.
“Traffic po kasi papasok ng school ko, so kahit 3 p.m. pa ‘yung uwi ko, parang 1 p.m. or 12 p.m. pa lang bumabiyahe na siya paalis sa kanila,” she shared.
The duo is set to star in the upcoming Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry ‘My Future You.’
The movie features a unique storyline where Seth’s character resides in 2009 while Francine’s character lives in 2024. Despite their time difference, they connect through a magical video call.
Francine teased the intriguing premise, saying, “Isa ‘yun sa mga secret ng pelikula na dapat alamin ng mga gustong manood ng My Future You. So naghahanap din kami ng kasagutan—bakit may ganitong nangyari, paano nangyari, so paano tayo magkikita?”
Seth highlighted the movie’s strong family themes, noting that the narrative explores how revisiting the past can shape the future.
“Mas tungkol siya sa pamilya. May [storyline] na ‘pag bumalik tayo sa past, ‘yung future natin maiiba. So lahat nag-connect-connect,” he explained.
‘My Future You’ is set to bring a heartfelt mix of fantasy, romance, and family values when it premieres during the MMFF. Fans eagerly await the on-screen chemistry of Francine and Seth in this much-anticipated project.
