The continental queen titles are part of a new initiative by the Miss Universe Organization (MUO) to expand recognition for outstanding candidates worldwide. The winners will serve as ambassadors for their respective regions, participating in global events and advocacy campaigns.
As Miss Universe Asia, Chelsea is expected to embark on official trips across the continent, representing both the Philippines and the Asian region on the global stage.
While Chelsea made history as Miss Universe Asia, Victoria Kjaer Theilvig of Denmark was crowned as Miss Universe 2024, succeeding R’Bonney Gabriel of the USA.
Chelsea’s remarkable journey in Miss Universe 2024 saw her making it to the Top 30 qualifiers, representing the Philippines with poise and determination. Her recognition as Miss Universe Asia underscores her impact and sets a precedent for future candidates.
