Kapuso late-night drama series “Asawa ng Asawa Ko (ANAK)” and its Kapamilya rival “Pamilya Sagrado” remain locked in a fierce ratings battle, with both shows trading the timeslot lead throughout the past week.
According to the latest Nielsen NUTAM People survey, the two programs have been separated by narrow margins, intensifying the competition for primetime’s third slot.
On Monday, November 4, ANAK posted a slightly lower rating of 5.6%, trailing “Pamilya Sagrado” by just 0.1%, as the latter scored 5.7%. However, ANAK bounced back on Tuesday, November 5, claiming the timeslot lead with a 5.8% rating, securing the 11th spot on the overall ratings chart. “Pamilya Sagrado,” meanwhile, dipped to 5.4%, landing in 12th place.
The rivalry heated up further on Wednesday, November 6, as both programs tied with a rating of 5.4%, sharing the 11th spot on the leaderboard.
Thursday, November 7, saw “Pamilya Sagrado” surge ahead with a significant 1.5% increase, reaching 6.9% and climbing to 9th place. In contrast, ANAK slipped to 12th place with a steady 5.4% rating.
By Friday, November 8, “Pamilya Sagrado” maintained its lead, registering a 6.0% rating, easily surpassing Amazing Earth, which managed 3.9%.
As “Pamilya Sagrado” approaches its finale week, the stakes are higher than ever. Will it sustain its momentum for a clean sweep against ANAK, or will ANAK rise to spoil its rival’s grand finale? The battle is far from over.
