Kapamilya actress and ‘It’s Showtime’ host Anne Curtis has achieved another career milestone with the unveiling of her wax figure at Madame Tussauds Hong Kong.
This achievement places Curtis among global icons featured in the museum’s prestigious Glamour Zone, where her wax likeness stands alongside Hollywood legends like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. Curtis is the first Filipina actress and TV host to receive the honor, solidifying her status as one of the Philippines’ most influential celebrities.
In a heartfelt statement, Curtis shared her amazement and gratitude for the recognition. “I’m truly honored to be celebrating this moment, being immortalized by Madame Tussauds Hong Kong,” she said. “Sobrang hindi ako makapaniwala na I was given this opportunity.”
Her wax figure captures her elegance and poise, dressed in a stunning white gown while holding a microphone, symbolizing her return to the limelight after her maternity leave. Curtis expressed awe at the intricate details, especially her signature mole, which the team perfectly replicated. “Parang ganito pala feeling na meron kang kakambal. Pati ilong, nunal — na-amaze ako kasi alam ko ‘yung process. Kalokalike ko talaga!” she remarked.
Curtis is joining a distinguished roster of Filipinos featured in Madame Tussauds, which includes beauty queens Pia Wurtzbach and Catriona Gray, boxing legend Manny Pacquiao, and Broadway icon Lea Salonga.
“It’s an honor for me to be the first Filipina actress and TV host to be featured,” Curtis said. “I’m proud to represent the Philippines and stand beside such incredible Filipino talent.”
Curtis revealed her excitement about introducing the wax figure to her daughter, Dahlia Amélie, and shared a playful plan to surprise her during a family visit to Hong Kong.
“Ang plano ko, mag-Hong Kong kami. Tapos hindi ko sasabihin sa kanya,” Curtis said with a laugh. “I think she might have to take a double look!”

In true Anne Curtis fashion, she didn’t forget to address her fans, who often joke about missing her February birthday.
“Sa mga kababayan natin, alam kong February pa ang birthday ko,” she said humorously. “Pero okay lang, madadalaw niyo siya sa Madame Tussauds.”
Anne Curtis’ wax figure will officially be on display at Madame Tussauds Hong Kong starting December 9, 2024.
