Actress and comedian Aiai delas Alas is set to address rumors surrounding her reported separation from husband Gerald Sibayan in an exclusive interview with Boy Abunda, which will air on ‘Fast Talk with Boy Abunda’ on Monday, November 11, coinciding with Aiai’s birthday.
The special interview has sparked significant public interest, as it is expected to shed light on the speculated end of Aiai and Gerald’s nearly decade-long relationship. The couple, who wed on December 12, 2017, at Christ the King Parish Church in Quezon City, had previously appeared strong despite their notable age difference.
The rumors about their separation gained traction following a recent interview with Boy Abunda, where Aiai’s responses hinted at personal struggles. During that conversation, Boy asked her about her greatest fear, to which Aiai candidly replied, “Actually, yung totoo, yung mag-isa. Pero I think kapag dumating yung time na yon, kaya ko naman… kaya ko naman.”
In an emotional moment, she also expressed regret over allowing herself to be hurt in past relationships, saying, “Eileen [her real name], sorry kasi pinayagan mong masaktan ka ng ibang tao, physically and emotionally. Hindi mo deserve yon kasi isa kang babaeng nagmahal lang at naging loyal sa kanila with a pure heart and no intention na lokohin sila.”
