Comedy Queen Aiai delas Alas recently hinted at a past clash with a fellow celebrity during her guest appearance on ‘Lutong Bahay,’ hosted by Mikee Quintos and her son Sancho Vito.
While participating in the show’s ‘Kitchen-Terrogate’ segment, Aiai was asked if she’s ever had a falling-out with an actor she would rather not work with again.
Laughing off the question, Aiai opted to eat a grape instead of naming anyone, jokingly saying, “Ayokong may kaaway.” She added that she generally avoids conflicts with fellow artists, choosing instead to focus on maintaining professionalism on set.
Mikee then probed further, asking if Aiai had encountered any young artists with a difficult attitude. Aiai praised her colleagues at GMA Network, assuring viewers, “In fairness kasi sa GMA mababait ang mga artista. Wala akong masasabi.”
Sancho, who has also ventured into acting, shared his mother’s advice on respecting industry veterans, recalling her words, “Magpapakilala at rumespeto sa mga senior actors.” Aiai agreed, stressing the importance of staying grounded regardless of success, “Huwag kang mag-feeling.”
“Never mong i-expect na kilala ka nila,” Sancho agreed.
When asked about handling criticism, particularly from social media backlash during her political endorsement of a candidate, Aiai revealed that she no longer lets such negativity affect her. “I don’t read hate comments on social media anymore,” she said, indicating a shift toward a more resilient outlook.
