GMA Network’s flagship primetime newscast, “24 Oras,” continues its reign as the country’s leading news program, maintaining a commanding lead over its rivals.
Based on the latest Nielsen NUTAM People ratings, 24 Oras remains the top-rated news program, outperforming other primetime newscasts such as “TV Patrol” and “Frontline Pilipinas.”
On Monday, November 4, 24 Oras secured the number 2 spot overall with a 15.0% rating, just 0.4% behind the top program, “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo.” In comparison, “Frontline Pilipinas “ranked 15th with 3.8%, while “TV Patrol” placed 19th with 3.2%.
The dominance continued on Tuesday, November 5, as 24 Oras retained its 15.0% rating and number 2 position. This was 11.2% ahead of Frontline Pilipinas, which again recorded 3.8%. Meanwhile, “TV Patrol” saw a slight increase to 3.5%.
On Wednesday, November 6, 24 Oras dipped slightly to 14.4% but tied with FPJ’s Batang Quiapo for the overall top spot. Both “Frontline Pilipinas “and “TV Patrol” experienced decreases, with 3.6% and 3.0%, respectively.
The following day, Thursday, November 7, 24 Oras returned to the number 2 position with a 14.6% rating. “Frontline Pilipinas “ranked 16th with 3.7%, while “TV Patrol” improved slightly to 3.5%.
Finally, on Friday, November 8, 24 Oras ended the week firmly in the number 2 spot, earning a 12.7% rating. “Frontline Pilipinas “climbed to 14th with 4.2%, while “TV Patrol” landed in 20th place with 2.6%.
With its consistent performance and broad reach, “24 Oras” cements its position as the country’s most-watched news program.
