GMA Network’s flagship primetime newscast, “24 Oras,” maintained its dominance in the news category, while Kapamilya’s action-drama series “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo (FPJBQ)” continued to lead among entertainment programs.
According to the latest peak ratings report from the Nielsen NUTAM People Survey covering January to November 2024, “24 Oras” achieved the highest peak ratings among all TV programs in the country. Meanwhile, FPJBQ topped all Kapamilya shows and led the entertainment category.
“24 Oras” recorded its highest peak rating of 18.6% on July 24, 2024, while FPJBQ reached a peak of 18.2% on August 19, 2024.
Following “24 Oras” in the overall rankings is another Kapuso news program, “Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho” (KMJS), with a peak rating of 18.4% on July 28, 2024. In fourth place, just below FPJBQ, is its former rival “Black Rider,” which earned a peak rating of 15.6% on July 26, 2024. Completing the top five is “The Voice Kids,” which recorded a peak rating of 14.9% on November 16, 2024.

These rankings highlight the continued strength of GMA Network in news programming, while ABS-CBN remains a strong contender in entertainment.
