After weeks of underperformance, GMA Network’s crime mystery drama “Widows’ War” made a strong comeback, securing fresh victories over its rival “Lavender Fields” in the latest aggregated ratings.
According to the most recent Nielsen NUTAM People survey, “Widows’ War” achieved a two-day timeslot win against “Lavender Fields.”
On Monday, September 23, “Lavender Fields” started the week with a 0.9 percent lead, scoring 9.1 percent while “Widows’ War” trailed at 8.2 percent. “Lavender Fields” ranked 4th overall, while “Widows’ War” landed at number 8.
The following day, Tuesday, September 24, “Widows’ War,” starring Bea Alonzo and Carla Abellana, secured its first win of the week, edging out “Lavender Fields” by a narrow 0.2 percent, with 8.5 percent versus 8.3 percent. The Kapuso series also moved up to 7th place, while “Lavender Fields” slipped to 8th.
By midweek, on Wednesday, September 25, both shows saw a ratings dip, tying at 8.2 percent and sharing the 6th spot.
However, on Thursday, September 26, “Widows’ War” pulled ahead again, leading by 0.4 percent with 8.0 percent against “Lavender Fields” at 7.6 percent. Despite the lower rating, “Widows’ War” held its 6th position, while “Lavender Fields” dropped to 8th.
On Friday, September 27, “Widows’ War” faced a setback, once again losing to “Lavender Fields,” 8.1 percent versus 8.3 percent.
