Celebrate Vivamax’s remarkable success as it gives us a list of exciting new things to look forward to. First is the launching of its new logo. Vivamax is now “VMX”. This logo has a new look and a new statement but maintains the same brand identity that is recognized by many.
Another thing to celebrate this 2024 with VMX is that it’s not only available for streaming online, it has also reached the big screen and entertained the audience in cinemas. VMX’s first-ever cinema release, Roman Perez Jr.’s Unang Tikim starring Robb Guinto, Matt Francisco and Angeli Khang premiered in cinemas last August and will be available for streaming this November.
VMX will also have another theatrical release with a McArthur C. Alejandre film, Celestina: Burlesk Dancer. A movie set in the Philippines during the 1940s – Celestina: Burlesk Dancer is about a woman who becomes a burlesque dancer to support her son after they leave her good-for-nothing husband. Celestina: Burlesk Dancer is set to premiere later this year.
VMX remains to be unstoppable as it releases new movies week per week. Last September, six new titles premiered in the platform, namely F–Buddies (Denise Esteban, Candy Veloso, Calvin Reyes, Mon Mendoza), Throuple (Sahara Bernales, Audrey Avila, Arah Alonzo, Aerol Carmelo), Uhaw (Angeli Khang, Ataska Mercado, Itan Rosales), Paluwagan (Micaella Raz, Shiena Yu, Victor Relosa, Chad Solano), Pilya (Dyessa Garcia, Cess Garcia, Dani Yoshida, Chester Grecia), and Kiskisan (Robb Guinto, Skye Gonzaga, Apple Dy, Juan Paolo Calma).
In the remaining months of the year, VMX will continue to produce and showcase films that will excite its viewers. This October, we witnessed Salsa ni L (Christine Bermas, Sean De Guzman, Jeffrey Hidalgo), Tahong (Candy Veloso, Salome Salvi, John Mark Marcia, Emil Sandoval) and Tatsulok (Mariane Saint, Skye Gonzaga, John Mark Marcia). Four more new titles will premiere – Undergrads (Rica Gonzales, Athena Red), Halinghing (Aiko Garcia, Jenn Rosa), Krista (Cess Garcia, Zsara Laxamana, Karl Aquino, JD Aguas), and Donselya (Dyessa Garcia, Arnold Reyes, Anthony Davao, Chloe Jenna, Vern Kaye).
For November, VMX will bring us Baligtaran (Apple Dy, Skye Gonzaga, Calvin Reyes), Ungol (Audrey Avila, Stephanie Raz, Chad Solano, Ghion Espinosa), Kabitan (Alessandra Cruz, Athena Red, Chester Grecia, Juan Paulo Calma), Maryang Palad (Sahara Bernales, Vince Rillon), Pukpok, (Allison Smith, Arah Alonzo, Mon Mendoza, Rash Flores, Seon Woo Kim) and Boss Ma’am (Jenn Rosa, Vern Kaye, Aerol Carmelo).

VMX also continues to go global and aims to reach a broader audience, not just Filipinos abroad but also other nationalities. VMX movies like Adan, The Housemaid, and many more are to be localized for release in Japan. These movies may be enjoyed with Japanese subtitles or a Japanese dubbed version.
VMX has not only been successful as a streaming platform, several VMX talents have also gained following and recognition and made a crossover to mainstream media. Angeli Khang and Salome Salvi became a part of GMA Network’s primetime series “Black Rider,” Quinn Carrillo starred in another GMA Primetime series, “Asawa Ng Asawa Ko,” Christine Bermas, on the other hand, is one of the hosts of TV5’s variety and game show “Wil To Win,” and Azi Acosta starred in TV5’s hit primetime series “Carlo J. Caparas’ Lumuhod Ka sa Lupa”.

Project X: VMX Fashion Show 2024 on the other hand, is a one-of-a-kind fashion show that highlights 14 VMX artists – Rica Gonzales, Sahara Bernales, Robb Guinto, Angela Morena, Micaella Raz, Stephanie Raz, Mariane Saint, Jenn Rosa, Apple Dy, Dyessa Garcia, Audrey Avila, Skye Gonzaga, Aiko Garcia, and Zsara Laxamana.
Inspired by the glitz and glamour of the iconic Victoria’s Secret Fashion, this event will bring fun to fashion shows.
