The romantic-comedy film ‘My Future You,’ starring Francine Diaz and Seth Fedelin, has been officially selected as one of the entries for the 50th Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF).
The movie, which marks the first full-length film collaboration between the two rising stars, is part of the five finished films chosen for this year’s festival.
Produced by Regal Films, ‘My Future You’ also marks the production company’s return to the MMFF, having last participated in 2020 with ‘The Missing.’ Initially planned for release next year, the film was fast-tracked after being chosen for the festival, much to the delight of fans and the production team.
During the 6-decade anniversary event of Regal Films, Diaz and Fedelin shared their excitement about the project. Diaz described the film as a “gift” for their supporters, expressing her gratitude for being part of a Regal Films production. Fedelin added that both he and Diaz take the film seriously, determined to offer more than just the “kilig” factor that fans expect from a love team.
