Kathryn Bernardo expressed her excitement about the highly anticipated film ‘Hello, Love, Again,’ a project that reunites her with Alden Richards and marks the first-ever collaboration between Star Cinema and GMA Pictures.
The film, which follows the massive success of 2019’s ‘Hello, Love, Goodbye,’ continues the story of Joy and Ethan as they reconnect five years later.
During her recent appearance on ‘Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,’ Kathryn shared how significant the support from both networks has been. “It’s under Star Cinema and also GMA Pictures. Nag-collab sila this time. And since day 1, they have been very supportive… from GMA bosses to ABS-CBN bosses, they were all there showing their support,” Kathryn said, describing the positive energy that surrounded the project.
GMA Pictures President Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes had expressed similar enthusiasm at the movie’s announcement in May. She revealed that Hello, Love, Again was a natural choice to kick off the partnership between the two networks. “This is the best movie that we can begin with,” Valdes said, adding that the sequel had long been a topic of casual discussion between herself and ABS-CBN President and CEO Carlo Katigbak.
The film picks up where ‘Hello, Love, Goodbye’ left off, with Joy and Ethan meeting again in Canada after five years. The original film, set in Hong Kong, followed their journey as OFWs pursuing their dreams. While their connection was powerful, Joy ultimately chose her career over romance, leaving fans wondering about the future of their story.
Scheduled for release on November 13, 2024, ‘Hello, Love, Again’ is expected to draw fans from around the world to theaters, promising to deliver another chapter in the emotional story of Joy and Ethan.
