ABS-CBN and TV5 launched their new daytime and pre-primetime shows last week, but how did they fare in the TV ratings?
According to the latest Nielsen NUTAM People survey, “Kapamilya Deal Or No Deal (KDOND)” and “Ang Himala Ni Nino (AHNN)” both debuted at the lower end of the ratings chart.
On Monday, September 30, KDOND made its return to TV and online platforms, replacing Goin’ Bulilit, which is currently on a season break. The re-run premiere of KDOND earned a 1.9 percent rating, placing it at number 27 on the overall ratings board. Despite its low ranking, KDOND slightly outperformed its TV5 counterpart, Wil To Win, which garnered a 1.8 percent rating. Meanwhile, their Kapuso competitor, Family Feud, dominated with an 8.9 percent rating.
Similarly, AHNN had a modest debut, registering a 1.8 percent rating, tying for 28th place with Wil To Win. This is 2.0 percent lower than its rival, GMA’s Tiktoclock, which scored a 3.8 percent rating.
AHNN, starring Zion Cruz, took over as TV5’s pre-afternoon program, replacing Padyak Princess before EAT…Bulaga. The show is a spin-off of TV5’s 2021 series Nina Nino, directed by Thop Nazareno.
