Actress Julia Montes has sparked intrigue among her fans after posting a cryptic message on social media, hinting at betrayal by someone she had once helped.
On Friday night, October 4, the Kapamilya star took to Instagram to air her frustrations, claiming that a person she supported in the past is now trying to ruin her reputation.
“Oo ikaw alam mo kung sino ka ‘wag post ng post. Mga tao talaga,” Montes wrote in her Instagram story. She further expressed her dismay, adding, “Tinutulungan mo noon! Sinisiraan ka na ngayon! Saklap diba!”
While Montes did not reveal the identity of the person or elaborate on the situation, her cryptic post immediately caught the attention of her fans, prompting them to speculate.
On X (formerly Twitter), one netizen commented, “For her na sumabog nang ganyan, matindi ‘yan,” while another suggested that the person involved might be a family member rather than a fellow celebrity.
Despite the controversy, Montes has kept her focus on her upcoming projects. The actress is gearing up for her television comeback with ‘Saving Grace,’ where she stars alongside actor Sam Milby. Filming for the series recently began in Puerto Princesa, Palawan, marking her first lead role after a four-year hiatus. Montes was last seen in the series 24/7 and made a guest appearance in ‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano,’ led by her real-life partner, Coco Martin.
Additionally, Montes headlined the film ‘Five Breakups and a Romance,’ where she starred opposite Alden Richards. The film further cemented her standing in the industry after her extended break from lead roles.
Interestingly, Montes’ cryptic post comes after actress Sofia Andres also shared a similarly vague message on social media, stating that she does not “tolerate thieves” and reminding everyone that “blood is thicker than water,” fueling speculations about personal conflicts among celebrities.
