Jesi Corcuera, a proud trans man and ‘StarStruck,’ ‘Pinoy Big Brother’ alumnus, made headlines after announcing his pregnancy, marking a significant milestone in his life and inspiring many with his story of resilience and hope.

Jesi, who rose to fame on ‘StarStruck: The Next Level’ in 2006 and ‘Pinoy Big Brother’ in 2016, shared the news through a series of maternity photos on Instagram, where he proudly displayed his baby bump wrapped in the LGBTQ+ flag.
In his post, Jesi detailed the emotional and challenging path he took towards parenthood, revealing that he underwent in vitro fertilization (IVF). His journey to becoming a parent began back in 2018, but it was fraught with difficulties, including financial obstacles. “That time, maraming struggles, lalo na financially,” he shared, noting how expensive the process was.
Jesi also opened up about how his relationship with his partner, Cams, and her children played a pivotal role in his decision to become a parent. After reconnecting with Cams following their breakup, he realized he was ready to embrace fatherhood. “Naisip kong parang sign na yata ito ni Lord sa’kin,” he explained.
Now, expecting his first child, whom he affectionately nicknamed “Ninja,” Jesi expressed his gratitude for being able to carry the baby himself, despite the challenges he faced along the way. “Sobrang thankful ako na pinagkaloob ito ng Diyos sa akin,” he wrote.
The ‘StarStruck’ alum also addressed the difficulties of his journey, asking his followers not to judge quickly. He emphasized that while the process was not easy, he simply wanted to have something he could call his own, especially after taking on the role of a parent figure to Cams’ children. “Sa lahat ng desisyon ko sa buhay, malaki ang naging parte ng mga bata at ni Cams sa kung ano ako ngayon,” Jesi said, expressing his deep connection to them.

The announcement was met with an outpouring of love and support from friends, family, and fans. Fellow StarStruck alumnus Dion Ignacio was among those who congratulated him.
