During the show’s 15th anniversary press conference at the ABS-CBN Broadcasting Center in Quezon City, host Kim Chiu expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to celebrate with GMA. “Very thankful kami. Lalo na at first time namin i-ce-celebrate ang ‘Magpasikat’ sa GMA, at 15th anniversary pa kasama ang mga Kapuso,” Chiu said. “We’re very happy, we’re very lucky, and looking forward kami na mapanood ng lahat.”
The hosts have been preparing extensively for their ‘Magpasikat’ performances. Jhong Hilario described his team’s presentation as “mapuso,” while Ogie Alcasid called theirs “lantaran.” Kim Chiu shared that everyone has been putting in immense effort. “Lahat kami sobrang pinaghahandaan ‘yun. Dugo at pawis talaga. Minsan kinekwestyon namin, ‘Bakit ba natin to ginagawa, ano bang kapalit nito?’ Wala, sadyang gusto lang talaga namin magbigay ng spectacular experience for the Madlang People for the entire week ng ‘Magpasikat,'” she said.
‘Magpasikat’ week will run from October 21 to 26, with each host’s team showcasing their special performances.
‘It’s Showtime,’ which first aired on October 24, 2009, has evolved from a talent competition into a beloved noontime variety show, featuring comedy skits, games, and musical performances.
