The projected mega-blockbuster are showing record-high pre-sale numbers, which may be translated to tens of millions opening gross, at the box office.
Hello, Love, Again, faces a tall order, but it’s showrunners and cast members should not lose their heads. With the first film, Hello, Love, Goodbye, grossing more than ₱880 million at the global box office, and the mammoth Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera-starrer, Rewind, setting a new record at ₱945 million, last year, there’s really no way for Hello, Love, Again, but to go north of these movies at the box office. ₱1 billion is history.

Especially in the Philippines, you can tell an upcoming movie is set to rake in millions, if social media engagements are high, and mall shows are being flocked by thousands of fans. However, through, technology, we can now actually track the pre-sales, or online ticket purchases made ahead of the film’s opening date on November 13. These purchases are made via the official reservation sites of some major cinema chains in the Philippines. In this case, we’ve tracked screenings across all available dates, on smcinemas.com, megaworldcinemas.com, robinsonsmovieworld.com, and sureseats.com.
Based on our tabulation, Hello, Love, Again, has already garnered ₱12.3 million in pre-sales. Admissions or no. of tickets sold, is also already at 32,347, as of today, October 24. Figures are expected to move upward as purchases through the said outlets, continue by the minute.

Comparing these pre-sale numbers to the blockbuster Star Cinema film, Un/Happy For You, whose pre-sales hit ₱4.5 million, on the eve of its opening date, it seems safe to say Hello, Love, Again will gross, at least ₱61 million on opening day.
