Gretchen Barretto has openly discussed the swirling rumors about her relationship with long-time partner Tonyboy Cojuangco, dismissing claims of a breakup.
In a recent vlog with celebrity doctor Dra. Aivee Teo, Barretto shared that both she and Cojuangco find the speculation amusing.
“Ang funny nga when people say hiwalay, oh my gosh. Alam mo now, I laugh, we really laugh already,” Barretto said during her beauty treatment with Teo.
In response to Barretto’s comments, Dra. Aivee noted, “’Coz Tony is your constant, eh.” Barretto agreed, stating, “Oh yeah, you have history, you have continuity, you have everything.”
The actress praised Cojuangco’s unwavering support, saying, “You know, when a man supports a woman wherever you go, supports you even when you’re doing derma, that is something else. A keeper,” she emphasized.
Barretto highlighted their strong relationship, adding, “That’s what Tony is. It doesn’t matter what time, what day. Tingnan mo naman, 31 years na kami sa Feb (February) And never separated, ha?”
Despite facing challenges, including their significant age difference and Cojuangco’s marriage to equestrienne Denise Yabut Cojuangco, the couple remains deeply in love. They share a daughter, Dominique Cojuangco, who has been a source of joy for them since her birth.
