The widely-talked about reality show has been on a record-breaking spree, for four straight weeks.
Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11 did it again! It seems its streak of record-breaking episodes will continue until its widely-anticipated Big Night, which is expected to happen in the last part of this month.
Such streak of record-breaking concurrent viewerships, were notably logged during eviction episodes. But what is even mindblowing about these feats, is that they happened consecutively, without interruption. Dylan Ytturalde first broke record for any show airing on a Saturday primetime (September 14), with a peak viewership of 470k live concurrent viewers on YouTube and Facebook, combined. This record was subsequently erased on September 21, the night of Jas Dudley-Scales’ eviction. The episode drew in more than 540k combined concurrent viewers on YouTube and Facebook, combined. The streak continued to September 28, another eviction episode, which saw Jarren Garcia’s heartbreaking exit. The episode logged more than 604k of concurrent viewers, on YouTube, alone, excluding the unverified 40k+ viewers on Facebook.
Last night, October 5, Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11 outdid itself again, when a record-shattering live viewership on YouTube and Facebook, was logged. Thanks to the massive attention, frontrunner, Binsoy Namoca’s exit, drew, a new history was made! The episode attracted a jaw-dropping 659,000 viewers, simultaneously watching the live program on YouTube and Facebook, combined. This is already comparable to the number one TV show in the country, FPJ’s Batang Quiapo, which regularly draws at least 600k, nightly.
With only 6 housemates and only 1-2 evictions left, before a new Big Winner is crowned, stakes are definitely getting in Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11. New records are definitely underway.
