Kris Aquino recently shared a lighthearted exchange with her son, Bimby Aquino Yap, regarding her health condition as she undergoes testing for possible cancer.
The ‘Queen of All Media’ revealed the conversation in an Instagram post, highlighting Bimby’s positive outlook despite the situation.
Kris, whose mother, former President Corazon “Cory” Aquino, passed away from colon cancer, admitted it was challenging to explain the potential risks to her 17-year-old son. Despite this, Bimby remained optimistic and even joked about his uncle, former President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III, who passed away in 2021.
“He said ‘Mama until they do the biopsy let’s trust God that you’re cancer free. Lola will make sure you’ll get through this and if ever, mama it’s early detection,” Bimby told Kris, as she recounted in her post.
He then added a playful comment, saying, “He even jokes: i don’t think tito Noy is excited to have a reunion with you this soon because he’s enjoying the peace and quiet in heaven. You do know how you can talk nonstop?'”
Former President Noynoy Aquino died from renal disease due to complications from diabetes on June 24, 2021.
