Magical action and adventures await viewers as ABS-CBN airs internationally acclaimed Chinese drama series “The Untamed,” starting Monday (October 28) at 10:15 PM on Kapamilya Channel, Jeepney TV, A2Z and TV5.
“The Untamed” is a drama adaptation of the The New York Times Best Seller novel “Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation” written by Chinese author Mo Xiang Tong Xiu, starring Xiao Zhan, who rose to fame as a member of Chinese boy group X Nine, and Wang Yibo, who debuted in Korean-Chinese boy group Uniq.
The series is set in a magical world which revolves around the two disciples from different respected clans, Wei Wu Xian (Xiao Zhan) and Lan Wang Ji (Wang Yibo), who meet during training and accidentally discover a dark mystery hidden for many years. The two decide to rid the world of the ominous threat that leads to Wei Wu Xian’s death.
Sixteen years later, Wei Wu Xian is brought back to life through a self-sacrificing ritual. He conceals himself behind a mask and assumes a different identity. Soon, Wei Wu Xian reunites with Lan Wang Ji and they start working together to solve the mysteries of the present and unravel the truth behind the events in the past.
