Kapuso crime mystery series “Widows’ War” is far from surrendering in its ratings battle against “Lavender Fields,” continuing to put up a strong fight.
According to the latest Nielsen NUTAM People ratings, “Widows’ War” remains a formidable contender in its timeslot, consistently delivering solid performance against Lavender Fields.
On Monday, September 9, “Widows’ War” garnered a rating of 8.6 percent, just 1.0 percent behind “Lavender Fields,” which posted 9.6 percent.
The following day, Tuesday, September 10, the Bea Alonzo and Carla Abellana-led series saw a dip, dropping 0.8 percent to 7.4 percent, widening Lavender Fields’ lead to 1.6 percent, though the latter also saw a slight decrease, scoring 9.0 percent.
By midweek, on Wednesday, September 11, “Widows’ War” bounced back with an improved rating of 8.5 percent, keeping the gap at 1.6 percent behind “Lavender Fields,” which earned 10.1 percent.
On Thursday, September 12, “Widows’ War” closed the gap further, posting 8.4 percent, just 0.6 percent behind “Lavender Fields,” which stood at 9.0 percent.
However, on Friday, September 13, “Widows’ War” held steady at 8.4 percent, while Lavender Fields increased slightly to 9.9 percent, widening the gap once again.
Despite this, “Widows’ War” had previously claimed a single-day victory over its rival. On Friday, September 6, the Kapuso thriller achieved a 9.1 percent rating, surpassing “Lavender Fields,” which posted 8.9 percent.
Can “Widows’ War” replicate its past success and maintain the tight competition against its Kapamilya rival? Time will tell.
