Star Magic, the talent management division of ABS-CBN, is taking legal action to track down and prosecute individuals responsible for circulating fake and malicious photos and videos of members of the popular P-pop group BINI.
The management has expressed alarm over the spread of “deepfake” content—digitally altered images and videos—featuring group members Jhoanna, Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, and Sheena.
In an official statement posted on BINI’s social media accounts, Star Magic condemned the circulation of these harmful materials. “It has come to our attention that there are malicious, edited deepfake photos and videos of BINI members circulating on social media,” the statement read. “We strongly condemn these harmful acts. Our team has already taken action to remove some of these accounts.”

Fans of the group, known as Blooms, have also voiced their support, urging others to help protect the artists from this form of harassment.
Star Magic has referred the case to the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Cybercrime Unit, seeking to stop the spread of these damaging materials and hold those responsible accountable. The management’s swift action underscores its commitment to safeguarding the reputation and well-being of its talents.
