SB19 delighted the A’Tin community by sharing their fondest memories and personal favorites at McDonald’s during a recent fan meet held at Robinsons Place Manila.
Much like the bigger, juicier, and crispier Chicken McDo that they are promoting, the group has grown in stature and is one of PPop’s most awarded and beloved acts. The event was McDonald’s way of thanking the group’s loyal followers for their support of their partnership.
“I’d like to thank SB 19 and their team for partnering with us. But most importantly, I want to thank you, the A’Tin community. You inspired us to make this collaboration,” said McDonald’s Philippines Marketing Director for Channels Ashley Santillan-Delgado during the event.
She added that McDonald’s and SB19 share the same values.
“They are very hardworking. With their craft, it’s really about excellence. Recently, they received the Voices of Asia Award at the Billboard K Power 100 in South Korea. Talaga namang they’re getting bigger and better just like the McDonald’s Chicken McDo. There’s really so much love for the bigger and better Chicken McDo kaya naman we’re giving back the love to you guys,” said Santillan-Delgado.
McDo Memories
From how McDonald’s meals became their comfort food to childhood memories of collecting Happy Meal toys, Pablo, Stell, Josh, Justin, and Ken thrilled fans with their stories.
Stell shared that he used to be a McDonald’s crew member while he was still in school. He also loved collecting McDonald’s Happy Meal toys when he was younger. Josh also has fond memories of McDonald’s growing up as he loved going to the store’s play area when he was a child.
When it comes to their favorite McDonald’s food, Ken has always been a fan of the Chicken McDo. He loves the two-piece chicken with extra rice. Pablo, meanwhile, loves the McDonald’s fries and sundae combo. Justin also loves McDonald’s fries, especially the Shake-Shake Fries, and the Burger McDo.
New SB19 McDonald’s Chicken McDo Meal With Collectible Photocards
On the other hand, McDonald’s Philippines Assistant Vice President for Corporate Relations and Impact Adi Timbol-Hernandez announced the release of limited-edition SB19 collectible photocards that would come with their new SB19 Meal.
Every purchase of the SB19 Meal comes with 1 random photocard. There are 6 photocards to collect, and the meals can be ordered via dine-in, takeout, drive-thru, and through www.mcdelivery.com.ph. The promo runs from Sept. 19 to Sept. 25.
The SB19 Chicken McDo Meal and photocards are symbolic of the group’s partnership with McDonald’s Philippines. As the beloved Chicken McDo they are promoting has become bigger and better, they, too have become bigger and better — making their partnership a true celebration of shared success.
