Showbiz manager and insider Ogie Diaz has broken his silence on the growing speculation surrounding Liza Soberano and her rumored relationship with Jeffrey Oh.
In a recent episode of his vlog ‘Showbiz Updates’ aired on Monday, September 23, Ogie reacted to videos that surfaced online showing Liza and Jeffrey together in Singapore.
The former talent manager of Liza, Diaz, expressed his support for the actress, saying, “Basta makita nating happy si Liza, e ‘di okay na tayo dapat do’n.” He noted that the videos, which were shared by fans, showed Jeffrey in the background, seemingly hidden by a woman filming the pair. “Kasi nga ‘yong mga fans lang naman talaga ang nakahuli no’ng shot na ‘yon. Na natatakpan pala ng babaeng nagbi-video [si Jeffrey].”
Diaz emphasized that people should not interfere with the actress’s personal life, adding, “Sino naman tayo para kumontra kung happy naman siya doon?”
Ogie’s co-host, Mama Loi, also weighed in, stating that many are curious whether Liza and Jeffrey are together because of their professional relationship or for personal reasons. Jeffrey Oh is currently known as Liza’s manager.
Diaz, with a laugh, admitted, “So, kung magkasama sila, magkasama ba sila dahil si Jeffrey Oh ‘yong manager ngayon ni Liza Soberano? O magkasama sila dahil for personal reasons?”
“Alam mo, ‘yong feeling ko hindi ko alam,” Ogie added while laughing.
In another vlog, Diaz interviewed singer-actor James Reid, who once managed Liza under his company. Reid shared concerns about Jeffrey, alleging certain business-related issues involving him. Despite this, Ogie remained focused on Liza’s well-being, stressing that her happiness should be the main concern.
The rumors surrounding Liza and Jeffrey continue to swirl, but for Ogie Diaz, the key is simple: “Hayaan na natin, basta happy sila.”
