Lavender Fields continues to reflect its incredible victory in the ratings game, online. The series does not only top the daily chart for Netflix Philippines’ most streamed TV shows, it also dominates the streaming giant’s weekly chart. For the week covering 2-8 September, the series reigned supreme at number one, beating major international titles, Love Next Door, The Frog, and even currently airing Kapuso series, Pulang Araw.
The series’ number three debut on Netflix’s weekly chart, was already impressive enough, as compared to other shows on the chart, Lavender Fields only had a few episodes and limited watch hours, to push its placement up in the chart. The series’ pilot episode was first made available to the application, on Friday, August 30, 72 hours ahead of its television premiere.
Lavender Fields follows the story of its titular character. Formerly Jasmin Flores, she tries to exact revenge at those who made her life miserable, by killing her mother and stealing her daughter. It promises an exquisite mix of drama and action, and a plot that will surely keep you on the edge of your seats!
