Actor Jericho Rosales admitted that he hesitated to court actress Janine Gutierrez because of their age gap.
In a YouTube vlog with broadcaster Karen Davila, Jericho shared his uncertainty after mistakenly thinking Janine was only 24 years old, which caused him to reconsider the possibility of pursuing a relationship.
According to Jericho, his makeup artist, EJ, told him that Janine was 24. “I agree with you on that, the purity part. So pure, I thought she was 24! EJ, my make-up artist said that she’s 24. And I said, ‘What?! Okay, bye.’ Alam mo yun? Bye, I’m not dating a 24-year-old girl,'” the actor shared.
Concerned about the age difference, Jericho searched the internet to verify Janine’s actual age and was relieved to find out she was 34. “I Google, Google, Google [na 34 na siya], sabi ko, ‘Oh, okay puwede pala. Puwede pa pala,’” Jericho said, adding a humorous tone to the conversation.
It’s worth noting that the two have a 10-year age gap, with Jericho being 44 and Janine, 34. Despite the age difference, it seems their friendship and the potential for a relationship remain undeterred.
